  • Refer people to “IDEAS” page on web site.
  • There are many ideas possible for fundraising to help Saving Grace reach its $2.5 million goal. Here are just a few:

    a. “Adoption” by Sunday school classes…

Raising awareness as well as funds is something Sunday school classes of all ages can do! Why not see if your class will agree to “adopt” Grace International School for a quarter — or even an entire year! Focus on praying for the crisis at Grace, for the families affected and that God will provide the resources needed. Consider holding special events to raise funds for Saving Grace such as dinners, auctions, etc.

    b. Youth fundraising projects and idea starters

Kids helping kids! What a great opportunity to make a difference! Hold a walk-a-thon, a work-a-thon or sponsor a bazaar or carnival to raise awareness and generate funds that will help make sure classes can continue for missionary kids!

    c. VBS missions projects

Consider the Saving Grace Project as the special missions project when your church holds summer Vacation Bible School. We can provide you with resources such as videos, photographs and other information to help kids understand how their help will make a difference for missionaries in Thailand.

    d. Local awareness suggestions for Christian media

Do you know missionaries in Thailand? Pass this information along to your local radio and television stations or newspaper. They’re always looking for human interest stories.

    e. “Mini-events” designed to raise awareness and contributions

Desserts, banquets, barbecues, 5K races, auctions, golf events, radio-thons, sales, etc., etc.

    f. Youth benefit events

Hold a “world record” car washes — raise pledges for the number of cars washed in a single day. Have a sports team “play-a-thon” for pledges, visit local Christian businessmen and challenge them to get involved by making “matching” pledges for the amount you raise.

    g. “Each one reach ten” campaigns

Challenge friends or church members to commit ten dollars each and spread the word to ten other people to do the same and spread the word to ten other people, etc.
